A Legacy of Late Samina Kausar Rajput
Founded in 2012 by the late Samina Kausar Rajput, the institute was born out of a mother’s struggle to find a supportive school for her son with Down syndrome. With a vision to create a space where education and therapies could go hand-in-hand, she established SAM as a safe, nurturing environment for children with special needs.
What began as a small setup with big dreams has now become Abbottabad’s leading institution for special education and rehabilitation. Her dedication was recognized across Pakistan, earning her multiple awards in the field of special education.

In her final days, Samina Kausar(Late) was working on her next dream—SAM THERAPEUTIC HUB—a state-of-the-art facility offering one-on-one therapies for children and adults. The hub is now ready to open, continuing her mission of care, support, and inclusion for all.
